Alinity Divine
Alinity is featured in the lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo is a California Twitch user who filed a suit against Twitch for damages in the amount that amount to $25 million. The user claimed Twitch exposed him to sexually explicit content by female streamers. Based on court documents discovered from Dexerto, the plaintiff, who previously sued Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, submitted the formal complaint to court on June 15 seeking a suit, and Twitch itself was issued an official summons on June 19. Estavillo was, in accordance with the Santa Clara Superior Court of California complaint, suffers from a number of medical issues that require him to rely on the internet to entertain himself. Additionally, he suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder as well as a sexual addiction. Based on the lawsuit, Twitch makes these issues much worse. According to the complaint "the female streamers continue to expose Twitch viewers who want to be entertained by watching people play video games but are instead confronted with sexually addicting material and contents on a constant every day every day." Alinity is not included. The complaint requests all of the above streamers to be removed permanently from Twitch for violating the terms of service. It also wants an amount of $25 million as compensation that will "be divided equally among the complainant, all other Twitch Turbo Subscribers as well as any funds left."
